People are turning to AI chatbots to connect with spiritual figures. Apps now let users chat with Jesus, Buddha, and God. These platforms offer spiritual guidance and reflections through digital conversations.

Apps bring millions to virtual faith

The Text With Jesus app allows users to talk with an AI version of Jesus Christ. Chat With God offers conversations with a divine presence across seven religions. Users can also select an agnostic option. The service costs $499 per month for premium access.

According to AS USA, the Bible Chat app has reached over 30 million downloads. People use these tools for daily Bible verses and companionship. Scientific American reported that QuranGPT crashed at launch due to high traffic. Raihan Khan, a 20-year-old Muslim student in Kolkata, created the platform.

Swiss church tests AI confessional

Peters chapel in Lucerne, Switzerland, installed a virtual Jesus in their confessional booth. Marco Schmid, a theologian with the Peterskapelle church, called it an experiment. The church wanted to see how people would react to AI Jesus.

The Guardian reported that more than 1,000 people spoke to AI Jesus over a couple of months. Schmid said they wanted to understand what topics people would discuss. The project aimed to gauge interest in digital spiritual conversations.

Growing demand for digital faith

Millions of users now rely on AI for spiritual guidance. These platforms provide daily messages and reflections. The technology offers new ways to explore faith and seek comfort. Users access these services through apps and websites. The tools combine artificial intelligence with religious content to create interactive experiences.

The trend shows how technology enters personal belief practices. Chatbots simulate conversations with religious figures. People ask questions and receive automated responses. The platforms use language models trained on religious texts. This creates dialogue that feels personal to many users.
