Google is expanding its AI-powered search experience, AI Mode, to more than 180 countries and territories in English, with support for additional languages coming soon. The tool is designed to handle complex queries and deliver more conversational answers, and it now includes a way to share results so others can continue the conversation. According to TipRanks, users can also delete shared links at any time.

Global rollout and sharing features

AI Mode’s global availability in English broadens access to richer, context-aware responses that help users plan, compare, and refine information. A new Share button enables users to pass along an AI-generated result to friends or family, who can pick up where the conversation left off. This is positioned as useful for coordinating plans such as events or trips. Users retain control over their content with the option to remove shared links.

Google notes that support for more languages is on the way. The focus remains on making search feel more conversational, allowing users to ask intricate questions and receive helpful, structured guidance in response.

Agentic capabilities and personalization

Alongside the broader release, Google is introducing new agentic capabilities in AI Mode that can help complete tasks like finding restaurant reservations based on party size, time, location, and cuisine. The system checks multiple booking platforms, including OpenTable, Resy, and Tock, and returns real-time options with direct links to book. Google says additional capabilities, such as booking event tickets or local services, will arrive soon.

Availability and experimental access

These agentic tools are currently available as an experimental feature for U.S.-based Google AI Ultra subscribers. For U.S. users who join the Labs experiment, AI Mode is also becoming more personalized. Results may be tailored based on previous searches, stated preferences, and interactions with Maps. For example, someone seeking a quick lunch could see suggestions aligned with their past choices, such as favoring Italian food or outdoor seating. Users can adjust or turn off personalization in account settings.

According to TipRanks, the expansion, the addition of sharing, and the early agentic and personalization features underline Google’s push to make AI Mode more useful for everyday planning and decision-making while maintaining user control.
