Adobe unveils Acrobat Studio with PDF Spaces and AI Assistants

Adobe announced Acrobat Studio, a new destination that brings together Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Express, and AI agents to help people work faster, create standout content, and get insights from their files. According to Yahoo Finance (Business Wire), Acrobat Studio turns PDFs and other sources into conversational knowledge hubs and integrates Express tools and Firefly-powered generation for visual content.

PDF Spaces and AI-driven workflows

The release centers on PDF Spaces, described as dynamic work environments that convert collections of PDFs, web pages, and other files into conversational knowledge hubs. Individuals and teams can use agentic AI Assistants to uncover insights, surface recommendations, generate ideas, validate responses with precise citations, and add notes to revisit later.

AI Assistants can be assigned roles such as “instructor,” “analyst,” or “entertainer” to synthesize information, answer questions, and suggest areas to explore. Users can personalize assistants to fit project needs, and entire PDF Spaces—including customized assistants—can be shared with colleagues, customers, or classmates for seamless collaboration.

Trusted tools meet Express creation

Acrobat Studio unites Acrobat’s PDF capabilities with Adobe Express content creation. It includes Acrobat tools for scanning, e-signing, editing, combining files, redacting, comparing, and protecting documents, as well as AI-powered summaries for scanned documents and contracts. With access to Adobe Express Premium, users can produce infographics, presentations, flyers, and social posts using templates, brand kits, and Firefly-powered Text-to-Video and Text-to-Image.

Use cases, security, and availability

The announcement highlights scenarios across business, education, and consumer tasks—organizing research, generating citations, explaining contract details, planning trips, and turning insights into polished reports without leaving Acrobat Studio.

For enterprises, Adobe describes transparency, control, and security features including state-of-the-art encryption, a secure sandboxed environment, compliance-ready features, and centralized deployment. Acrobat Studio analyzes only documents that users ask it to use and provides clickable citations that link to sources within analyzed files.

Acrobat Studio is available globally in English with a 14-day free trial, offering access to PDF Spaces, AI Assistants, and Adobe Express Premium. Early access pricing starts at USD $24.99 per month for individuals and USD $29.99 per month for teams. Additional details and pricing information are linked in the source announcement.

Adobe positions Acrobat Studio as an evolution of Acrobat from a document productivity app to a destination where users can get to insights faster, create content, and collaborate more seamlessly, aligning with the company’s history in PDF since 1993.
