Adobe has introduced Acrobat Studio, a new workspace that brings together PDFs, web pages, and other files with built-in AI assistants and Adobe Express tools. According to The Verge, the platform is designed to expand Acrobat beyond traditional PDF reading and editing by consolidating up to 100 items into a single project.
A consolidated hub for documents and design
Acrobat Studio lets users upload and manage multiple file types in one place, including web pages and Microsoft 365 files. The experience is centered on collaborative environments called “PDF Spaces,” which pull files and website information together into what Adobe describes as “conversational knowledge hubs.”
Within these spaces, teams can view and sign agreements tied to a project, gather research and notes, and tap Adobe Express tools to transform information into infographics or other visual assets for sharing with colleagues and clients. The goal is to enable simultaneous work across documents without leaving Acrobat.
AI assistants inside PDF Spaces
The workspace also adds customizable AI agents that build on earlier AI features in Acrobat. These assistants can be used by individuals and teams to provide insights, recommendations, and notes, and to generate ideas and citations from the data collected inside a space. The Verge reports that Acrobat Studio integrates these capabilities directly so users can coordinate files and creation tasks in one environment.
Availability and early pricing
Acrobat Studio is available globally in English starting today, with unlimited access to PDF Spaces, AI Assistants, and Adobe Express Premium. It is offered as a separate subscription product that can replace Adobe’s Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro plans.
Early access pricing starts at $24.99 per month for individuals and $29.99 per month for teams on an annual contract. The Verge notes that it’s unclear what the price will be after the early-access offer ends on October 31st.
By combining document management, AI-driven assistance, and creative tools, Acrobat Studio is presented as a centralized hub for organizing and acting on information from multiple sources within Acrobat.
